Clayhole Swim Beach & Concessions

The Clayhole Swim Beach at Firemen’s Park has reopened after two water quality tests showed that the E. coli level has dropped to a safe level for water recreation to resume.

The City of Chaska regularly tests the water quality at Firemen’s Park Clayhole Swim Beach from June through August.  Based on surrounding area beach standards, the Clayhole Swim Beach has one of the lowest E. coli levels. While there was a higher than normal reading from a sample taken this past Monday, it was well below the threshold that most area beaches close.

As a part of reopening the swim beach, the Clayhole Concession stand at Firemen’s Park will have a special half-off sale on single- and double-scoop sundaes Friday, July 12 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

City of Chaska lifeguards will be on site from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. June 7 - August 18, 2019

As always, parents will be expected to watch their children.
There are NO lifeguards on duty before 12:00pm and after 7:00 p.m.
