Outdoor Ice Skating

The Chaska Parks and Recreation Department and the Chaska Public Works Department operate and maintain outdoor skating rinks at three different sites in the City of Chaska. Rink attendants are on duty daily, weather permitting, from late December through mid-February. Outdoor hockey rinks are available for public enjoyment at Community Park and Lions Park. Leisure skating rinks are at these sites in addition to Firemen's Park Clay Hole.


Weekdays: 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sundays: 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Outdoor Rink & Warming House Closing Policy
Ice is not skateable if or warming houses will closed: 
-Actual weather temperature is -5F degrees or colder (not wind chill). 
-More than 2 inches of snow accumulates on the ice when maintenance crews are not available.
