Chaska Community Center Group Fitness Instructor (Evenings) 

Lead a variety of fitness classes at the CCC. Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for leading group fitness classes that range in variety and levels. Skills include counting, cueing, organizing choreography, and patron relations. Job responsibilities as follows:
• Provide a safe and fun environment for participant
• Promote knowledge of proper group fitness components, i.e.: warm up, aerobic exercise, flexibility, cool down, etc.
• Knowledgeable in techniques and dynamics of Group Fitness
• Knowledge in a variety of Group Fitness classes 
• Acquire and maintain a Group Exercise Certification and CPR/AED Certification
Must be available between the times of 5:00-8:00pm Tuesday and/or Thursday. 
$18-$25/class

Lifeguards and Swim Instructors

Lifeguards and Swim Instructors needed at the Chaska Community Center and Clayhole Beach (June - August).  Candidates must be American Red Cross certified in Lifeguarding.  Certification classes available at the CCC. Day, evening and weekend hours available up to 32 hours a week.

Arena Maintenance Workers

Part time Arena Maintenance Workers are responsible for the general daily operation of CCC Arenas.  Operate ice resurfacers, perform general custodial work, provide customer service, operate skate sharpner, assist CCC Maintenance as needed with room set ups and tear downs, Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Indoor & Outdoor Rink Attendants

Indoor Rink Attendants provide excellent customer service to all Community Center patrons and guests. In addition, provides on ice supervision during open skates and/or special events ensuring safety and enjoyment of all patrons on ice and in arena. Assist in Skate Shop with skate rental, daily admissions, & scanning of membership cards. Process all cash/checks receieved accurately and promptly. Sharpen hockey and figure skates. Participate in keeping all facility areas neat, clean, and safe at all times. Attend all necessary trainings and work meetings. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starting Wage: $9.65/hour.

Outdoor Rink Attendants provide customer service and supervision of outdoor ice skating rinks during winter season. Must be able to work shifts between the hours of Monday-Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 10am-9pm, & Sunday 1-9pm.

Chaska Curling & Event Center 

PT Custodial/Maintenance Position 

The PT Custodial/Maintenance position is a weekend 3rd shift hourly position encompassing cleaning and maintenance of the Chaska Curling and Event Center. Responsibilities include:
• Assist with set up and tear down of Event Center chairs/tables
• Vacuuming of Event Center, Players Loundge, and hallways
• Ensuring equipment is stored, cleaned, and functional
• Properly Removing trash and recycling
• Cleaning of restrooms and stocking of paper goods and soap
• Window cleaning in Welcome Hall, Reception Hall, Arena Hall, and Office
• Use of carpet extractor throughout all carpeted areas of building
• General building maintenance: Painting, cleaning as required
• Secure building nightly by locking all exterior doors into building
• Snow removal from front entry and all doors during winter months.

Chaska Curling & Event Center Office Support:

The office support/front desk personnel will serve as the point of contact for guests of the building and customers using our facilities. This position will help provide customer service at the window, over the phone, and through email. The office staff will help monitor activity in the curling arena, the Event Center, and building and assist with general cleaning and custodial needs.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide customer service to guests.
• Ensure that those using our facility are properly checked in and have signed any necessary documents, including but not limited to waivers, rental agreements, etc.
• Working in ActiveNet software to help assist with daily business.  This could include selling memberships, enrolling in classes, modifying permits, entering league scores, and taking payments.
• Ensure that curling screens are updated and functioning properly.
• Ensuring that all reports- incident, accident, etc are filled out and turned in
• Selling merchandise and products through our point of sale system.
• General building maintenance/custodial attention. This includes ensuring bathrooms are clean and supplied, floors are vacuumed, garbage cans are monitored, and glass near office is clean. Areas include Welcome Hall, locker rooms, and Player’s    Lounge.
• Conducting a financial closeout at day’s end and securing cash.
• Follow opening and closing procedures for unlocking and securing the building.
• Assist with ice pebbling as needed

Weekend Curling Instructors:

Curlers who feel they would enjoy teaching others the game are encouraged to submit an application. We have a tremendous amount of requests for weekend group rentals- both private groups as well as corporate. The person would be responsible for teaching the group how to curl, make sure all safety measures are followed (waivers, etc), and providing a good customer experience. Ice Making Assistant:

We are looking for two part time ice makers. These individuals would work with the head ice maker to prepare ice for leagues and perform general arena cleaning/maintenance.
