Non-purist yoga class designed for mainstream fitness providers focusing on the mindful practice of the physical pose. Beginner instruction and higher level guidance may occur in every class as student attendance is variable. For those who come from a fitness/athletic background and those new to yoga and mind/body work. Also, students who cannot commit to a whole session.
Drop in classes ongoing – Tuesdays 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Cost: $4.25 Member per class, $9.00 Non-Member per class




A yoga class designed to help you de-stress, relax, and become more mindful. Class will include gentle stretches, simple flow sequences, strength and balance poses, and focus on the importance of the breath. (Modifications will be provided for students with less yoga experience making class accessible to nearly all ages and fitness levels.)



YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing poses modified for the older adult.  A chair is used throughout the class. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.  For AOA’s age 65+.

flow yoga

This class uses postures and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. Paying special attention to proper alignment of the body to bring balance, strength, and calmness into our lives. All levels welcome.
Drop in classes ongoing – Monday and Wednesdays, 6:45–7:45 p.m.
Cost: $4.25 Member; $9.00 Non-Member per class


A dynamic class structured around powerful movements, strength training using body weight. The foundation of the class comes from pilates and yoga but is far from your “typical” pilates or yoga class.

Fit 4 Life Yoga

This class is designed for baby boomer adults and individuals who prefer a gentler paced practice. Poses will flow between standing and mat-based work to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Students practice beginning yoga postures and work on the principles of body alignment and breath awareness. Modifications and props will be used to ensure poses accessible for students.
