From station exploration to learning letter and sound recognition coupled with science, art, music and language experiences and writing exercises the program works with your child at their individual level. The preschool is also well known for our detailed screening and conference time with the parents and teacher twice a year.

In addition to the classroom experiences the children also have the opportunity to experience the CCC. The children enjoy fitness classes in the upper gym, holiday and graduation programs on the stage in the Theater, Gallery art show each spring for the 4/5 year old class, Book Nook in The Lodge with the AOA’s (the kids refer to them as the Grandfriends) and seasonal field trips. The program also benefits from the park and rec experienced staff having special Fitness, Music and Spanish teachers coming in for the specials each week.

With an early childhood education degree from UW-Madison and over 18 years of experience teaching preschoolers, she has developed a curriculum that meets the needs of all children in our program and engages children through play and interactive learning.
"I feel so blessed to have a job that I truly love and to have found a school that is like home to me. Teaching these kiddos is a privilege and one that I will always cherish"

Sandy Jansen

"I have truly enjoyed every minute of my time here. Not only do I teach your children, but every year I find myself learning life lessons from them as well. These kids are pretty special."

Kim Roth

Miss Kim has been a teacher with us since 2012 - and before that she was a parent, sending her 2 girls through our program. She loved the Treks family so much that she didn't want to leave!
Kim currently teaches in our 3 year old class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Her gentle touch with the kids brings a calmness to the classroom that we can all appreciate.

Miss Janel wears many hats at Treks & Trails. She assists in the MWF program, teaches music and is the Fitness Instructor at Treks & Trails Preschool. We have been so fortunate to have her join our Treks & Trails family.
