Zeus the Moose
Zeus the Moose was born an only child in the chilly northern woods of Minnesota.  He lived his life as any normal moose would, but something was missing.  After a long night of thinking, Zeus packed up his things and moved to Bemidji where he attended Bemidji State University, majoring in Parks and Recreation.  After graduating in 1994, he had numerous jobs ranging from coat rack to squirrel companion.  He still longed to work in Parks and Recreation.  Then one day while wandering the woods for something to do, he ran into the Chaska Parks and Recreation Director, Tom Redman.  Tom was hunting the majestic wild turkey and started up a conversation with Zeus.  Zeus then informed Tom that he had a degree in Parks and Recreation.  Tom, with all his wisdom, quickly offered Zeus a job as the Chaska Community Center's Mascot and the rest is history.  You will see Zeus at most of the Community Center's special events.  So next time you are at the Chaska Community Center and see Zeus, give him a high five!
