MEMBERSHIPS

Membership gives you access to the pool, gyms, ice arenas, weight area, cardio equipment, walking track, and allows you discounts on all other activities such as aerobics, daycare, playroom, racquetball court rental, and over 250 recreation programs.

Annual Memberships
A person wishing to purchase a yearly membership can do so by paying for the year in one lump sum.  The membership must be paid in its entirety at the time of purchase.  The membership would expire one year from the date of purchase.  A renewal letter will be sent to you as you near your expiration date, reminding you that your membership is ending and you will want to renew soon.

Monthly Memberships
There are 2 ways that a person can sign up for a membership at the Chaska Community Center by paying monthly.
1. Automatic Payments
A person wishing to purchase a membership and pay for it on a monthly basis can do so by having it automatically deducted from their checking or savings account.  In order to sign up for this membership, we require a voided check or deposit slip and the first month's payment all due at the time of purchase.  The payment would come out on the 26th of each month.  This type of membership is geared for those who wish to remain members for a year or longer, as it takes 30 days just to cancel this type of membership.  This membership does not have an expiration date; it expired 30 days from the time when you call Patty to cancel the membership.
2. Utility Bill (ONLY FOR RESIDENTS OF CHASKA)
A resident who would like to purchase a membership and pay for it on a monthly basis, can have it added to his/her utility bill.  Each month, when residents receive their utility bill, there will be an additional charge in the amount of the appropriate monthly rate (see below).  This type of membership, similar to the one above, is geared towards those who wish to remain members for a year or longer.  This membership does not have an expiration date; you will continute to be billed until you decide to call Patty and cancel the membership.

Corporate Memberships
Corporations, industries, and busnesses are encouraged to utilize the Chaska Community Center.  Companies may purchase memberships for their employees at a 10% discount rate by purchasing 10 or more memberships.  For more information on this program, contact Patty at 952-227-7749.

BlueCross BlueShield, HealthPartners, Medica, Ucare and PerferredOne.
If you have insurance through either BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota, BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota of North Dakota, or HealthPartners, they will pay $20 a month towards your membership! Simply sign up for a monthly membership using automatic bank deductions, work out at least 8 to 12  times a month, and get reimbursed $20 a month.  (There will be a period of time between the completed month and the applied reimbursement.  Example: work out eight days in January, verified in February, reimbursement applied to the March billing cycle.)

Who is Eligible?
Health Partners: Any HealthPartners member with medical coverage through an individual or participating group plan, and/or a HealthPartners or Region Hospital employee AND age 18 or older (limited two participants per household).

BlueCross BlueShield: Active members (at least 18 years old) of fully isured group plans and individual BlueCross and BlueShield of MInnesota plans like AwareCare are eligible.  If you are a member of a self-insured group that's administered by Blue Cross, you may also be eligible if your employer offers the program.  A maximum of 2 qualifying adults per household can participants in the program and each can receive the $20 discount.

Medica: Sign up for Fit Choices by Medica and get a $20 monthly credit toward your health club membership.  Eligible Medica members who exercise eight or more times each month at a Medica participating health club facility will receive one $20 credit per month.  Monthly credits will appear on your health club statement two months after you meet the requirements of the program. Ucare:  Any UCARE member at least 65 years old with medical coverage through an individual or participating group plan.

PerferredOne: Member enrollment forms are available through your compaines Human Resource Department. Enrollment forms are not available at the Chaska Community Center.

Premier Package

*FREE Racquetball
For an additional $400 a year, you can be a Premier Member and receive FREE racquetball, FREE daycare, and FREE group fitness classes. Whether you purchase an individual membership or a family membership, for $400 more, you can have a Premier Membership Package.  This package can also be paid monthly.
