Ice Show 2018

Together with the Chaska Skate School, the Chaska Figure Skating Club will be hosting their annual Ice Show on Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4th, 2018 at the CCC.

The annual Ice Show is an annual performance of our Skate School and Skate Club's ice skaters as they showcase their talents and recently learned skills. A dress rehearsal occurs on Friday, March 2nd followed by our first show on Saturday evening and closing out the show on Sunday afternoon. Ice Show practice times are scheduled two weeks prior to the show. Practice times are to be determeined, with more information to follow in our Winter-Spring guide.

The Minneapolis Fed

Experience this unique walking tour of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, located at the north end of downtown Minneapolis and completed in 1997. The Minneapolis Fed serves the 9th District of the United States Federal Reserve and has become a locus of activity for several Federal Reserve System electronic functions and currently has 1100+ employees. The building showcases several rare and beautiful art pieces. The Federal Reserve ank maintains the quality and quantity of currency and coin in circulation, using state-of-the- art equipment, also known as robots to handle and process incoming and outgoing currency. A valid pho i.d. and security procedures are required for entrance. Following a warm food buffet at Milwaukee Road to include non-alcoholic beverage, dessert, and salads we will travel a short distance to the Firefighters Hall and Museum, featruing 12,000 square feet of historic items from Minnesota fire departments dating back into the 1860's. There are fire trucks, fire equipment, and many historic photos at this Minneapolis hidden treasure!

Spooky Geocaching

Do you enjoy hunting for treasure? Then we have just the kid-friendly 'spooky' adventure for you! This program will have brief instructions on using GPS navigation to find the hidden caches along the trail and open areas. Then will search for the spooky and sweet loot! October is great for walking with cool temperatures and beautiful changing scenery with the fall season. This October, make daily walking a priority. Walk and log your mileage throught the month. Complete 100 kilometers (62miles) and earn a "Walktober 2017" T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded during the month for motivational support. AOA Beginner Acrylic Painting

American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid for the Lay Rescuer

Introduction to Competitive Swimming
